Official updates
WARDOGS launch status and official updates
The Closed Beta is over, Early Access begins on 10 September 2026, and roadmap items remain plans rather than launch promises.

WARDOGS reached 1 million Steam wishlists on 14 August 2026. The Closed Beta ran from 21 to 23 August and was confirmed over on 24 August. Steam Early Access begins on 10 September 2026.
Price and editions
Steam localizes prices, so use the WARDOGS store page to see the price for your account and region instead of relying on one worldwide figure.
The optional Supporter Pack lists three starter weapon camos for the A-91, Bushmaster, and KH-2002, a Littlebird Taxi camo, a supporter scoreboard icon, a grenade bobblehead, and a helmet bobblehead. These items were absent from the Closed Beta and are expected at Early Access launch. The current Supporter Pack page controls the final availability and contents.
Early Access duration and monetization
The official estimate for Early Access is around one to two years. During Early Access, the stated commitment is no monetization beyond the optional Supporter Edition, no sale of in-game cash or gold bars, and no direct camo sales. Future policy can change, so check current announcements before purchasing.
Available core
Official materials describe the core experience with 100-player, three-team matches, objective zones, cash and XP, vehicles, logistics and support play, and proximity voice. These are core pillars, not a promise that every mode, balance value, or service will remain unchanged.
Planned during Early Access
Official roadmap language may include more maps, weapons, vehicles, deeper progression, a seasonal metagame, fighter jets, expanded weapon categories, and more objective variations. These are planned items, not launch guarantees. Timing and scope remain subject to development.
