Enter the active Control Zone, keep the first spawn affordable, and earn through team actions before buying expensive gear. WARDOGS supports up to 100 players across three teams, and the first team to 100 points wins.
First match flow
- Open the loadout planner and price the entire spawn, not only the weapon.
- Leave a cash reserve for another functional spawn. This is editorial guidance, not an official optimum.
- Join available transport instead of crossing the larger map alone.
- Move toward the active 2x2 km Control Zone and stay close enough to support teammates.
- Revive only when the immediate area is reasonably safe. An unsafe revive can cost two lives instead of saving one.
- Prioritize the scoring objective, then earn cash through useful team actions before making a more expensive purchase.
The rules that shape the first spawn
Each player starts with $10,000, buys weapons, equipment, utilities, and vehicles per life, and keeps cash across matches. The Control Zone is randomized within the larger map, so transport and timely rotation matter from the opening minutes.
Equipment defines the job instead of a locked class. Medical gear supports revives, a vehicle can provide transport, building tools can shape a position, spotting equipment can improve awareness, and direct combat gear supports a push. Pick a job the nearby team needs without treating any one setup as a required meta.
Five avoidable mistakes
- Spending the entire balance on one life.
- Walking alone from spawn when transport is available.
- Fighting away from the active Control Zone without a team purpose.
- Attempting a revive while the threat still controls the area.
- Assuming a community-reported beta mechanic will remain unchanged in Early Access.
